Publishing Cycle
The Libyan International Journal of Natural Sciences (LIJNS) is published electronically twice a year, in April and October.

LIJNS is an open-access journal, meaning that all published articles are freely available to readers, authors, and their institutions.
Copyright License Terms:
All articles published in LIJNS are licensed under the terms of the *Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License* ([http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/], which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, *for non-commercial purposes only*, provided you give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and the source. This means that authors retain copyright for their articles and grant others the right to use, distribute, and adapt the work, as long as the original authors and source are credited.
Intellectual Property Rights and Copyrights:
LIJNS allows authors to retain the full copyright of their research articles without restrictions. Authors retain all rights upon publication, consistent with the journal's open-access policy. This means:
Authors can make their articles available on their websites or repositories.
Authors can grant others the right to use, distribute, and adapt their articles, as long as the original authors and source are credited.
Archiving policy:
The Libyan International Journal of Natural Sciences (LIJNS) utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PN) plugin to ensure the long-term preservation of its published articles. This free service guarantees the availability of the journal's content for future generations.
Plagiarism Policy:
The LIJNS adheres to strict ethical standards and expects all authors to submit original, plagiarism-free manuscripts. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.
Consequences of Plagiarism:
Before Publication:
- Manuscripts with detected plagiarism will be rejected.
- Authors will be barred from future submissions to LIJNS.
After Publication:
- Plagiarism will result in article retraction with a "RETRACTED" watermark.
- Announcements will be made on the journal website and the author's institution.
- Additional measures may be taken depending on the severity of the plagiarism.
Complaints and Appeals:
Individuals can submit complaints or appeals to the Editor-in-Chief via email.
Publication Fees:
LIJNS is a completely free publication platform. There are no fees for submission, article processing, publication, number of papers, or colored figures.
